Terms of use
The house rules
The short version
- Your content is yours. We only use it to run the app for you.
- Be kind to the people in your space, and don't misuse the app.
- Life is provided as it is. Don't rely on it for anything critical, like medicine.
Using Life
By creating an account you agree to these terms and our privacy policy. You must be at least 13 [check] to use Life.
Your account
Keep your password safe. You're responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us at [support@your-domain] if you think someone else has access.
Your content
You own what you add. You give us permission to store it, process it and show it to the members of your space, only so the app can work. Don't add content that's illegal or that you don't have the right to share, including photos of other people without their consent.
Spaces
When you join a space, its members can see and edit shared items there. If you leave, what you added may stay in the space for the others. Any member can remove someone who is misusing a space.
Add-ons and payments
Life is free today. Some add-ons may become paid later. If that happens, we'll show the price clearly before you pay, and payments will go through the App Store or Google Play under their terms. We won't start charging for something you already use without telling you first.
Other services
Connecting Google Calendar means Google's terms apply to that part too. We're not responsible for changes or outages at Google.
No guarantees
We work hard to keep Life running and your data safe, but the app is provided "as is". Reminders may be late or missed, for example if your phone blocks notifications. Don't rely on Life for medication, care or other critical needs. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect losses. Nothing here limits your rights as a consumer under Danish and EU law.
Ending
You can export your data and stop using Life at any time, and you can delete your account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. If we ever shut Life down, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice and a way to export your data.
Law
These terms are governed by Danish law. Contact: [your name or company, address].
